At PCM Trials, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Research Nurse to join our team. As a Clinical Research Nurse, you will play a crucial role in conducting mobile visits for study participants, working closely with Clinical Project Managers, Coordinators, and site personnel to ensure accurate source documentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct mobile visits for study participants within the required visitation window
- Collaborate with Clinical Project Managers, Coordinators, and site personnel to complete visits and submit accurate source documentation
- Ensure current venepuncture and phlebotomy competency, as well as current practice and competency in working with the paediatric population
- Collect vital signs, ECG, urine samples, and perform urine pregnancy tests
- Document accurate and detailed patient records, including medical history and medication charting
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Paediatric Registered Nurse (RN) with current, unrestricted Paediatric NMC PIN
- Two (2) years' experience in starting and performing Phlebotomy/Peripheral Blood Draw
- One (1) year of experience collecting vital signs, ECG, urine samples, and performing urine pregnancy tests
- Skilled at collecting accurate, detailed patient records
- Excellent observational, verbal, written communication, and problem-solving skills
- Current CPR certification (BLS, PILS, EPALS or equivalent)
- Current vaccination record
- Full, clean driving license with access to own vehicle
- Gain CMRN training certification and clinical research experience
- Be a member of our general staffing pool
- No research experience required, on the job training provided
- Contribute to advancements of truly life-changing treatments
Job Type: Zero hours contract
Salary: £36.00 per hour
Expected hours: Ad-hoc bank shifts per your availability and protocol requirements
