Job Summary:
Lusona Consultancy (Group) Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Support Specialist to join our team on a 15-month maternity cover contract. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial support to our industrial manufacturing client in the southside of Glasgow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Support: Provide financial support to the wider finance team, including input and analysis of monthly reporting documentation.
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Complete balance sheet reconciliations and support wider areas such as treasury, fixed asset & capital control, as well as any other financial system support.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the finance team to support credit control, accounts payable and payroll teams.
- WIP Management: Assist in monitoring and control of WIP management.
- Ad Hoc Tasks: Perform any other ad hoc tasks outlined by the Group Finance Manager when required.
Requirements:
- Previous Experience: Previous experience within a similar role, ideally gained from an industrial organisation.
- Qualifications: Part qualified accountant or suitably qualified by experience accountant.
- Skills: Strong management accounts experience, excellent communication and time management skills to collaborate with various stakeholders across the business.
