Supporting a Child with Non-Verbal ASD in Chingford, London

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in Chingford, London. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of a child with non-verbal Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

About the Position
  • This is a full-time, long-term position starting January 2025, working with our LKS2 class on-site.
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to individual needs of Autism.
  • Previous experience working with ASD is desirable but not essential.
  • The salary for this role is estimated at £83.33-£100 per day.
Your Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the senior leadership team to develop and implement strategies that promote the child's academic growth.
  • Provide individualized support to the child, addressing their specific needs and goals.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom environment that fosters positive relationships among students.
