Optical Practice Manager

Health Care Personnel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Optical Manager to join their team. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for leading the optical practice to achieve exceptional results in terms of patient satisfaction, sales, and profitability.
Main Responsibilities- Practice Efficiency: Ensure the practice operates efficiently and effectively, adhering to organizational procedures and protocols.
- Customer Satisfaction: Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring patients receive the highest level of care and satisfaction with products and services.
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead and motivate staff, providing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.
- Practice Growth: Identify opportunities to increase patient numbers and sales, driving business growth and profitability.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of quality control across all areas of the practice, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stock Management: Oversee stock control, ensuring adequate supplies and minimizing waste.
- Cleanliness and Presentation: Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the practice, creating a welcoming environment for patients.
- Health and Safety: Ensure the practice meets health and safety standards, protecting staff and patients from harm.
- Marketing and Sales: Collaborate with the marketing department to develop and implement effective marketing strategies, driving sales and growth.
- Cost Efficiency: Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improving profitability and efficiency.
- Dispensing and Sales: Ensure the sale and supply of spectacles and contact lenses are conducted under the supervision of a registered optician, adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Management Experience: Proven track record of managing teams, with a strong background in customer service and business performance.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, able to motivate and engage staff at all levels.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to put the customer first and act professionally in all situations.
- Flexibility: Ability to be flexible with working hours and provide cover to other practices as needed.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
