We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Chef de Cuisine to lead our culinary team at Barchester Healthcare. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to deliver high-quality, nutritious, and delicious meals to our residents.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of chefs to create menus that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas, using fresh seasonal produce and adhering to high standards of nutrition and presentation.
  • Work closely with our front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and exceptional resident experience.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, food safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Collaborate with our Learning and Development team to provide training and development opportunities for our chefs.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a senior chef in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of nutrition and menu planning.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a front-of-house team.
  • Knowledge of modified diets and the IDDSI framework.
