We are currently recruiting a highly skilled Programming and Scheduling Specialist to join our team at Paramount Pictures. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling content for our FAST channels, ensuring a seamless viewing experience for our audience.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Plan and manage the programming schedule for nominated channels, ensuring all aspects are accurate and accounted for.
  2. Collaborate with Channel Directors to input forward planning schedules into What's On.
  3. Act as the primary point of contact for planning-related queries.
  4. Maintain and update month-end data for Finance and quarterly schedule insertion into WON for Channel Directors.
  5. Represent the Planning department at various company meetings and project work when required.
  6. Coordinate efforts between Programming, Sales & Presentation teams regarding schedule-related matters.
  7. Develop and implement new systems for programme planning.
  8. Provide out-of-hours support for the Channel 5 portfolio.
  9. Assume duties as a deputy to Channel Managers/Channel Directors, providing daily support across key planning functions.
  10. Verify that all content on nominated channels adheres to Watershed rules and internal compliance guidelines.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Previous experience in TV scheduling and digital content distribution is advantageous.
  • A strong understanding of the FAST ecosystem is crucial.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in TV scheduling, digital content distribution, and an understanding of the FAST ecosystem. They will also possess excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.

$65,000 - $76,000 per annum (dependent on location and experience).
