The RoleThis is a newly created position that will support the established finance team and liaise with senior managers and budget holders. Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Prepare key account reconciliations, including bank recs and supplier statement recs
- Produce accurate finance reports to specific deadlines
- Deal with internal and external stakeholders
- Work with day-to-day costings and analysis
- Complete monthly VAT returns
- Assist in the preparation of year-end audits
- Manage cash flow, ensuring it is up to date, accurate, and monitor trends
- Assist with any ad-hoc finance duties in and around the team
- Ideal candidate is part-qualified or looking to pursue qualifications (AAT/ACCA/CIMA)
- Minimum of 2 years practical finance experience in a similar role
- Previous experience using accounting software is preferred
- Intermediate to advanced user of Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
