Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at AC Hotels by Marriott Inverness. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading a section within the kitchen and working closely with our team of chefs to ensure that dishes are prepared and cooked to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Dishes: Prepare and cook dishes in accordance with set procedures and recipes, ensuring that all products are of the highest quality.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and high-quality food production.
- Inventory Management: Review and manage inventory levels to ensure that all products are top-notch and that waste is minimized.
- Portion Control: Monitor and control portion sizes to ensure that dishes are prepared and served to the correct standards.
- Support to the Head Chef: Provide support and assistance to the Head Chef as required, including helping to develop new menu ideas and recipes.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed, including HACCP regulations and food safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced and high-volume restaurant environment.
- Skills: Excellent culinary skills, with a strong attention to detail and a passion for food. Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
- Language: Fluency in English is essential.
- Personal Qualities: A flexible and creative approach, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
