Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team on a locum basis. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our pharmacy team, ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to the pharmacy team, including dispensing medications, preparing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective delivery of patient care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of pharmacy services.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Experience working in a pharmacy setting, preferably in an NHS hospital.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
