Critical Facility Operations Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced Critical Facility Operations Lead to join our team in West London. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of our data centers' electrical and mechanical infrastructure and ensuring the availability of our data centers for customers.

In this role, you will be responsible for supervising contractors who perform servicing or preventive maintenance, taking daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment, and manually handling and lifting equipment as needed. You will also be required to participate in on-call rotation.

  • Operational experience with electrical and mechanical equipment, including Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS's), Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS's), Diesel Generators, Chillers, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), Exhaust Fans, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's), and Transformers.
  • Experience leading and managing operations of critical facilities which require in-depth knowledge in electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
Requirements
  1. Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
  2. City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  3. Experience in data center engineering.
  4. Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, construction management or similar technical focus.

Estimated salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per year.
