As a High-Level Community Engagement Specialist at Project Centre, you will be part of a leading design, engineering and landscape architecture consultancy that is passionate about designing sustainable places for the people who use them.

We offer a range of services focused on providing our clients with the very best planning, design, engineering, and engagement solutions. Our Communications and Engagement team deliver public consultation, community engagement, behaviour change and communications programmes, and analyse the outcomes of these to shape how local authorities deliver projects and policies.

This role is ideal for someone looking to step up and take a lead role in the delivery of projects within infrastructure and planning sectors. If you enjoy motivating teams to reach their potential, have experience producing technical information into clear and plain English communications, and want to make a difference, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

About the Role
  • You will develop high-quality consultation, engagement and communications plans that meet client needs and expectations.
  • Lead the delivery of projects within budget and deadlines, ensuring excellent communication with internal project teams and being a single point of contact in the Communications and Engagement team.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues, while ensuring junior members of the team are well supported and contribute to their development.

About You
  • You will have experience in the design and delivery of public consultations, community engagement and behaviour change projects
  • Demonstrated ability to produce technical information into clear and plain English communications
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Experience in the infrastructure or planning sectors is beneficial, but not essential

We offer a competitive salary package of £42,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Other benefits include:
