IT Database Architect

**The Ideal Candidate**

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Database Administrator to join our team in Ashby. The successful candidate will have a strong background in database administration and design, with experience in relational and non-relational database architectures.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining and monitoring existing databases
• Creating new data repositories as needed
• Developing innovative approaches to storing data via warehousing
• Managing update processes and creating data backups
• Restoring lost data
• Helping to model data for new applications within the business

The ideal candidate will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and experience with data warehouse solutions such as Redshift, Panoply, and Snowflake.

This is a full-time role based in Ashby, with a minimum working week of 30 hours per week. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a discretionary bonus scheme, generous holiday scheme, enhanced maternity, paternity, adoption, and shared parental leave.

In this role, you will work closely with our systems team to design and implement efficient database solutions that meet the needs of our clients. You will also contribute to the development of new technologies and tools to enhance our data infrastructure.

Salary:** £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
