Swim Teacher Role

We're looking for a Swim Teacher to join our team at Bourton Leisure Centre. As a Swim Teacher, you'll deliver swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities, ensuring they feel supported and achieve their goals.

Our friendly working environment brings lots of variety every day. If you like talking to people, this is the role for you. We'll provide all the training needed to be a successful Swim Teacher.

In this role, you'll work closely with customers, communicating with parents/guardians concerning their development and advising on progression through the programme.

Requirements:

  • To teach swimming to children and/or adults as part of the Leisure Centre's swimming lesson programme, according to qualification, training and experience
  • To communicate with the children's parents/guardians concerning their development, and advise on their progression through the programme
  • To assist in the supervision of customers in the swimming pool and surrounds, ensuring their safety and discipline
  • Excellent communication skills with a genuine desire to work closely with customers.
  • An ability to deal with children and their parents
  • Level 2 swimming teaching qualification
  • DBS check
