Business Development Executive

The ideal candidate will have experience in all stages of the sales cycle, focusing on driving sales growth and expanding existing customer relationships. They should be confident in their ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, with a proven track record of delivering results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account management of existing accounts, identifying opportunities to increase sales and margin volumes.
- Identifying, targeting, and converting prospect leads into new accounts, with a focus on driving new business growth.
- Managing prospect data and pipeline, producing business growth plans for geographic areas.
- Operating a comprehensive call cycle, visiting key accounts, new leads, and potential sales opportunities within agreed timescales.
- Maintaining accurate records of all visits, completing weekly DSR information.
- Exceeding sales, GP targets, and KPIs set by the company.
- Developing repeat orders and retention plans for new and existing business.
- Taking orders from customers, ensuring they meet expectations and delivery requirements.
- Preparing and delivering sales pitches and presentations as required.
- Ensuring full compliance with sales, promotional, and marketing activity.
- Understanding competition, monitoring and reporting on competitor activities.
- Identifying and acting on trends from computer-generated statistics.
- Ensuring full knowledge of products, company features, competitive advantages, benefits, and pricing.
Requirements:
- Experience in full sales cycle, including deal closing.
- Demonstrated sales success, with a strong track record of delivering results.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- A valid, clean driving license is required.
Targets:
- 10% Sales Growth from same month previous year.
- 10% GP Growth from same month previous year.
- Qualifications:
