Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at CV Technical. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production facility. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Maintenance Technician to take on a challenging role and contribute to the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, and implement repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement proactive maintenance strategies to improve reliability and performance.
Support the production team to minimize the impact of maintenance activities on production lines.
Maintain accurate records of work carried out and ensure the integrity of plant equipment.

Requirements:

Proven experience in an electrical maintenance role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Recognized electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, MS Elec, or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including fault-finding and troubleshooting.
Experience with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible attitude to covering shifts when required.
Strong communication skills and a safety-first approach.
