About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a motivated professional to lead our Rheumatology Service, working closely with other Consultant Rheumatologists to provide continuing responsibility for Rheumatology Services.

  • Develop and implement effective clinical strategies to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share responsibility for the Clinical Rheumatology Service, including liaison with clinicians, hospital staff, and General Practitioners.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of healthcare professionals. They will also be responsible for maintaining a wide teaching role within the post, training medical students, nurses, and junior doctors as they rotate through the department.
