Head of Facilities Operations

We are looking for a highly experienced Head of Facilities Operations to join our team at Premier Work Support. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading the cleaning and waste management department at a prestigious exhibition centre in London's Royal Docks.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of sustainability principles and experience implementing sustainable practices in cleaning and waste management. They will be able to develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards for the team.
A salary of £65,000 - £85,000 per annum is offered for this role, depending on experience. The position also includes contributory personal pension, 25 days annual leave (pro-rated), private medical insurance cover, life assurance, and other benefits.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing capex planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for cleaning supplies, equipment, waste management, and third-party staff schedules.
- Implementing sustainable practices to reduce waste generation, increase recycling rates, and minimise environmental impact.
- Conducting regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and proper waste disposal practices throughout the centre.
