About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Crisis Support Worker to join our team at BRC, a leading Mental Health & Wellbeing Charity. As a Crisis Worker, you will be working in the Bristol area, supporting individuals with severe and enduring mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support a caseload of service users with low and medium risk needs, working collaboratively with families, carers, and friends.
  • Co-produce and implement recovery plans, crisis plans, and self-management tools, such as Wellness Recovery Action Plans, in partnership with service users.
  • Enable service users to make informed decisions about their mental wellbeing, maximising their independence and providing advocacy where necessary.
  • Work in a culturally sensitive manner, tailoring services to meet individual needs and challenging stigma and discrimination.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have experience working in mental health, a strong understanding of recovery principles, and excellent communication skills. You will also be able to work in a multidisciplinary team and signpost to appropriate services.
