About the Job:

We are currently recruiting for a Construction Site Supervisor to join our dynamic team in the Hire Building sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing lifting operations across various sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

You will also be responsible for RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statements) and site supervision. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with strong site supervisory experience and a focus on safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise lifting operations on construction sites in line with legal requirements and company standards.
  • Ensure that RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statements) are accurately created, followed, and reviewed on-site.
  • Oversee and direct site teams, ensuring effective communication and safe working practices.
  • Work closely with the project management team to ensure all aspects of lifting operations are carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff and contractors on safety protocols and procedures.
  • Conduct site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.

Requirements:

  • CPCS Appointed Person (AP) qualification/card is essential.
  • Proven experience in RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statements).
  • Previous site supervisory experience within the construction or hire building industry.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and risk management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving license (company van provided for travel).
  • CSCS Black Card

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

Location: Hull, Yorkshire, up to Newcastle, and down to Birmingham
