We are seeking a skilled Construction Professional to join our client's team. As an experienced Civils Operative, you will be responsible for carrying out civil engineering tasks such as groundworks, excavation, concreting, foundation installation, drainage, and surface preparation for garage equipment installations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Civil Works Execution: Carry out civil engineering tasks including groundworks, excavation, concreting, and foundation installation.
  • Site Preparation: Prepare and level ground for the installation of garage equipment, ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with health & safety regulations.
  • Maintenance & Repairs: Perform maintenance and repairs on existing civil works as required, adhering to quality standards and minimizing downtime.
  • Equipment Installation Support: Assist installation teams with any required civil works to support the setup of garage and workshop equipment.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures to ensure safe working practices on all sites.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience in civil works, groundworks, or construction, preferably within the garage equipment or infrastructure sectors.
  • Competence in using civil engineering tools and machinery (e.g., excavators, dumpers, concrete mixers).
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in construction environments.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to adapt to various working conditions and challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing tasks effectively and efficiently.

The successful candidate will have a competitive salary based on experience and qualifications: £17 - £18 per hour, plus overtime opportunities at time and a half. Additional benefits include company vehicle for travel purposes, accommodation and meal allowances for overnight stays, opportunities for career development and progression, full PPE and tools provided, and a supportive working environment.
