We are seeking a skilled Support Technician and Driver to join our team at Medstrom, a leading provider of medical equipment and services. As a Support Technician and Driver, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the timely installation and maintenance of our products.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and install clean and ready-for-use products to customers
  • Collect dirty or failing products from customers
  • Clean, test, and repair products, making them ready for use
  • Complete and record electrical safety testing on products during tasks
  • Keep inventory of products and spare parts
  • Provide demonstration and basic training to caregivers
  • Update relevant IT systems

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license required (to include C1) to drive a large vehicle
  • Mechanical or electrical background desirable, but not essential
  • Experience in a hospital service environment would be desirable
  • Experience using a Tachograph desirable, but not essential
  • Ability to work under own initiative and follow procedures laid out by the business to achieve deadlines
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form
