Maintenance Engineer

Job Description:
Madisons Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery, ensuring the smooth operation of the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including PPMs and reactive maintenance, to ensure the optimal performance of production machinery.
- Conduct electrical and mechanical maintenance, including troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
- Work closely with the production team to identify and resolve maintenance-related issues.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
Requirements:
- Hold an electrical or mechanical qualification.
- Have experience with PPMs and reactive maintenance.
- PLC experience is desirable but not essential.
- Have manufacturing experience, preferably in a similar industry.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
