Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

Madisons Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a leading FMCG manufacturing company based near Grantham. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery, ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on production equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with machinery, implementing repairs and maintenance as needed.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure minimal downtime and optimal production levels.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failures and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in maintenance engineering.

Requirements:

  • Electrical or mechanical qualification, with experience in maintenance and repair.
  • Proven track record of maintaining and repairing production equipment, with a focus on electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with production teams.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, with a focus on safety and risk management.
