Strategic Healthcare Planner Lead

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Healthcare Planner Lead to join our team. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership and planning skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality healthcare services.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of healthcare plans, working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals. This includes managing complex projects, coordinating with external teams, and maintaining relationships with key partners.
As a Strategic Healthcare Planner Lead, you will have expertise in clinical design, operating models, commissioning, risk management, and financial reporting. You will engage with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, contractors, and suppliers.
You will report to the Clinical Design Director and be responsible for regular reporting to the Trust Executive and Board Committees, providing assurance on the management of risks and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement healthcare plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Lead the healthcare planning team, managing complex projects and coordinating with external teams.
- Maintain strong internal and external relationships, assessing performance and integrating new initiatives.
- Educated to master level in a relevant area or equivalent level of qualification.
- Recognised management qualification at postgraduate level and/or experience.
- Completion of project management skills course, e.g. PRINCE2.
