Job Title: Music Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Music Director to lead our church's music ministry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and directing zonal choirs across multiple church branches, playing musical instruments, training and mentoring new learners, and organizing engaging musical worship during church services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct zonal choirs across multiple church branches.
  • Play the keyboard, African talking drum, and drum proficiently.
  • Train and mentor new learners in music and worship.
  • Organize and lead engaging musical worship during church services.
  • Travel to various church branches as instructed by the senior pastor.
  • Plan and deliver musical events.
  • Collaborate with other church leaders to enhance the overall worship experience.
  • Manage the church's music-related content to connect with the community.

Requirements:

  • HND or First degree in any discipline.
  • Degree/diploma from a reputable Bible school.
  • Proficiency in playing the keyboard, African talking drum, and drum.
  • Ability to train and mentor new musicians.
  • Fluent in English and major Nigerian languages.

Preferred Experience:

  • Church music ministry.
  • Choir direction and leadership.
  • Event planning and execution.
  • Training and development in music.
