About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to join our dynamic and creative design consultancy in Surbiton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality design solutions for a variety of civil/structural infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of large-scale civil/structural projects, including bridges, buildings, and other structures
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of the company's design strategy and direction
  • Manage and mentor junior engineers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles
Requirements
  • Proven experience in civil/structural engineering, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality design solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • Strong technical skills, with a good understanding of design software and tools
