Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team as a Lead Electrical Technician at our Glasgow Recycling & Renewable Energy Centre (GRREC) facility. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision, planning, and delivery of maintenance activities, replacement, and repair of control and instrumentation equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure efficient and safe operation of the facility
  • Plan and deliver maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
  • Assist in the coordination and management of contracts and contractors as required
  • Support outage planning and management of site projects
  • Drive health and safety culture and ensure the efficient running of the site
Requirements
  • Experienced, qualified, and competent electrical technician
  • Understanding of Environmental, Health, and Safety issues
  • Knowledge of repair methods of electrical equipment
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance and work management systems
  • Knowledge of the creation of detailed scopes of work/engineering specifications
