About the Role

The Content Author - Assessment Materials Specialist will be responsible for producing high-quality assessment materials that align with the subject specification. This role requires excellent communication skills, in-depth knowledge of the specific content area, and the ability to provide and coordinate training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure assessment materials comply with the Global Content Policy and fully support accessibility, diversity, equality, and inclusion.
  • Produce assessment materials that are of high quality and show sufficient coverage of the assessment criteria.
  • Advising on subject specialist matters throughout the production process and providing feedback where necessary.
  • Ensuring all materials are appropriate to the specific range of ability and will result in good discrimination and differentiation at all levels.

Requirements

  • A minimum of one full academic year of teaching experience in the relevant subject area/sector within the last 8 years.
  • A UK recognised teaching qualification.
