About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Digital Content Author to join our team at Pearson.

As a Digital Content Author, you will be responsible for creating high-quality assessment materials that meet the needs of our customers and learners.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, in-depth knowledge of the subject matter, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective content strategies to engage learners and enhance their learning experience.
  • Create high-quality digital content, including assessments, quizzes, and interactive activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and quality standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all content meets accessibility, diversity, equality, and inclusion guidelines.
  • Deliver content on time, meeting deadlines and quality expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as education or communications.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in content development, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in digital content creation tools, such as Adobe Creative Cloud.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is between £40,000 and £60,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
