Service Advisor

Chelmsford Volvo

Salary: £28,000 basic + up to £6,000 bonus

Chelmsford Volvo is seeking an experienced and dedicated Service Advisor to join our Aftersales Team.

With the support of Andrew, our Aftersales Manager, you can look forward to ongoing training opportunities that provide a clear career path and career progression within the Automotive industry.

  • Booking MOTs, services, and other repair work for our customers
  • Advising customers on warranty cover and upselling additional parts/accessories that benefit the customer
  • Liaising with the Aftersales department to organize and schedule appointments based on workload and call volumes
  • Managing a high volume of customers daily, as well as telephone calls and online booking queries
  • Informing customers of turnaround times and ensuring effective communication throughout the time a customer's car is in the workshop
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and updating systems when bookings are made

As a Service Advisor at our busy dealership, you must have a warm personality, heaps of energy, and a real passion for delivering a first-class customer experience each time. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport easily while explaining technical information in a clear and concise manner. Previous experience using Kerridge/ADP would be an advantage, as well as knowledge of other essential dealer systems.

You will be a great team player but also able to work independently using your own initiative. We want to hear from you if you have worked in a similar role within the Automotive industry and have a passion for customer service and cars.
