About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in providing specialist psychological services to older adults with complex mental health needs. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with healthcare professionals, social care staff, and community organizations to deliver high-quality care and support to individuals and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions for older adults with complex mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and community organizations.
  • Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and consultation to junior staff, including trainee Clinical Psychologists.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service innovations, ensuring that our services are responsive to the needs of older adults and their families.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, social care staff, and community organizations to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Doctoral level qualification in Clinical Psychology or equivalent.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC).
  • Experience of working with older adults with complex mental health needs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
