We're recruiting a Financial Planning Analyst to work in the Financial Services Finance team. The successful candidate will support the delivery of financial plans that meet the strategic goals for the Group.

Developing strategic business plans with the leadership team and senior managers is key to supporting The Very Group's strategy. The role demands timely delivery of accurate, well-presented, and relevant strategic planning information in a user-friendly form.

  • Work with management across the Group to develop business cases and provide financial modelling support.
  • Ensure financial models are fit for purpose, with financial control and data integrity, and compliance with financial accounting standards.
  • Understand the commercial drivers of the FS performance to provide commercial insight.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis, which may require direct interaction with various management levels, including Exec.
  • Advise senior business leaders on commercial implications of strategic decisions, new initiatives, historic trends, and current events affecting group financial performance.
