Job Description

Page Personnel is partnering with a business based in Poole to find a skilled Management Accountant - Part Time to join their accountancy team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce accurate and timely month-end revenue reconciliations in multiple currencies across all revenue streams.
  • Provide insightful analysis of sales and margins promptly following the end of month, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
  • Review and reconcile all company stock in various locations, making recommendations for any necessary stock adjustments.
  • Produce month-end reconciliations for all key balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and submit ad hoc reporting as required throughout the business, providing valuable insights to stakeholders.
  • Review and update the fixed asset register, including intangible items and amortisation.
  • Calculate and maintain various accruals, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare and submit monthly consolidated management accounts for submission to Group.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns and monthly Intrastat declarations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with external auditors to provide timely and accurate information.
  • Provide cover for other finance functions as needed, ensuring seamless support to the business.
Requirements
  • A proven background in management accounts production, with a strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis.
  • ACCA/CIMA studier or similar accounting qualification, with a strong foundation in financial accounting and reporting.
  • Experience of assisting in the production of statutory accounts, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with multiple currency accounts, with a strong understanding of foreign exchange and currency fluctuations.
  • Experience using Sage 300, with a strong understanding of its functionality and capabilities.
