Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our warehouse team as a Goods In Operative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for receiving and checking all incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, sorting and storing goods in designated areas, and assisting with loading and unloading goods.

Responsibilities:
  • Receive and check all incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met
  • Carry out physical inspections and report any damaged or missing items
  • Enter relevant data into the system, maintaining accurate records
  • Sort and store goods in the designated areas, ensuring proper organisation and accessibility
  • Assist with loading and unloading goods, using appropriate equipment and following safety protocols
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean and tidy warehouse environment
  • Communicate any inventory discrepancies or issues to the relevant departments
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in goods in operations, preferably in a logistics setting
  • IT competency to accurately enter data and use warehouse management systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to work effectively under pressure

We offer a competitive hourly pay rate from £11.50 to £12.50, a 12-week temporary to permanent contract, and the opportunity to obtain a Counterbalance FLT license. If you are a motivated and hardworking individual with a passion for logistics and goods in operations, we want to hear from you.
