Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our warehouse team as a Goods In Operative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our warehouse operations, from receiving goods to loading and unloading.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and inspect all incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met
  • Carry out physical inspections and report any damaged or missing items
  • Enter relevant data into the system, maintaining accurate records
  • Sort and store goods in designated areas, ensuring proper organization and accessibility
  • Assist with loading and unloading goods, using appropriate equipment and following safety protocols
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean and tidy warehouse environment
  • Communicate any inventory discrepancies or issues to the relevant departments
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in goods in operations, preferably in a logistics setting
  • IT competency to accurately enter data and use warehouse management systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to work effectively under pressure
What We Offer:
  • Competitive hourly pay rate from £11.44 to £12.50
  • 12-weeks temporary to permanent contract, with the opportunity to obtain a permanent contract after 12 weeks
  • Full-time working pattern, providing stability and a consistent schedule
  • Opportunity to obtain a Counterbalance FLT license
