Procurement Specialist - Rail Sector

Elevation Recruitment Group is proud to be working with a leading client in the Rail sector to recruit a Procurement Specialist to support their procurement team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring cost, quality, delivery, and overall financial performance of external suppliers.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and improve supplier performance
  • Manage procurement data in the ERP system to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best possible terms
  • Monitor and report on procurement performance, including cost savings and supplier performance


Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Experience in procurement or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics
  • Knowledge of the Rail sector, preferably with a background in engineering or a related field


Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
