The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Design Engineer to join our R&D Engineering team in a Development Engineering role. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions for our products and manufacturing equipment. Your expertise will be essential in specifying and designing machines incorporating the latest process, inspection, and controls systems.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong technical background in engineering, with a proven track record of experience in automated production equipment design. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. Your ability to lead and manage projects, as well as mentor and develop a small team, will be critical to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop innovative solutions for our products and manufacturing equipment
  • Specify and design machines incorporating the latest process, inspection, and controls systems
  • Lead and manage projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery
  • Mentor and develop a small team of engineers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need a degree-level qualification in an engineering discipline, with a strong background in automated production equipment design. You will also need to demonstrate a proven track record of experience in project management, leadership, and team development. Your ability to work in a regulated environment and adapt to changing priorities will be essential.
