Haleon is shaping the future of consumer health, and we're seeking a highly skilled Microbiologist Researcher to join our Oral Healthcare R&D team.

In this role, you'll be responsible for all microbiological aspects of R&D projects, working closely with the Microbiology Research Team Leader. Your expertise will support the delivery of new products, product development, innovations, methods, claims, and technology development programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage R&D projects by providing technical input on microbiological aspects, ensuring QbD principles and regulatory requirements are integrated into project plans.
• Embed appropriate microbiology testing in project plans and deliver results on time, following good scientific practice and written procedures.
• Proactively seek new capabilities to support new launches, microbiological claims, and visualizations.
• Drive innovation as a SME in Microbiology and research methodology, maintaining and expanding knowledge alongside industry advancements.
• Develop test plans with DoE principles to generate robust data packages for new launches.
• Maintain adherence to documented procedures for laboratory work, ensuring accurate recording, correct handling, and necessary records.
• Review internal and external microbiology data, highlighting issues and implementing CAPA.
• Ensure Quality and EHS practices, supporting internal and external audits and inspections.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology.
• Specific knowledge of Industrial microbiology, Oral Microbiology, Biofilms, Antimicrobials & preservatives.

Benefits and Perks:
