Job Overview:
As an Associate Professor of Kinesiology, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering undergraduate courses in Kinesiology
  • Engaging in collaborative efforts with colleagues for program enhancement and accreditation documentation
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to students within the department
  • Participating in academic research and contributing to scholarly publications
  • Advancing initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion

Essential Qualifications:

  • Doctorate in Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, or a closely related discipline
  • Proficiency in areas such as Exercise Physiology, Clinical Kinesiology, and Biomechanics
  • 1-3 years of relevant clinical experience in rehabilitation

Preferred Attributes:

  • Licensure or certification in rehabilitation practices
  • Experience in developing both short-term and long-term rehabilitation exercise programs
  • History of teaching courses related to Human Movement Sciences
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Published works in Kinesiology or associated fields
