About the Job



We are seeking a dedicated Female Security Officer to join our team in Edinburgh. This role is specifically for female applicants due to site-based operational needs. While 2 years of security experience is preferred, it is not essential, and customer service experience would also be beneficial. If you hold an SIA licence and live within a reasonable commuting distance, you may be suitable for this position.




  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct security checks and ensure the safety of all personnel and visitors on-site.
  • Monitor and manage site access, maintaining strict control over who enters the premises.
  • Perform necessary searches with professionalism, ensuring procedures are followed with respect and care.
  • Respond swiftly and effectively to any incidents, providing support and coordination as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a secure and welcoming environment.


What We're Looking For




  • Female candidates only, due to the specific operational needs of the site.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Previous experience in security is a plus, but full training will be provided.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Requirements




  • SIA Licence
  • Access to vehicle/good transport links
  • Any experience but ideally 2 years Security experience
  • Customer service experience would be beneficial
  • RTW and 5yr checkable history including education and/or employment
  • Emotional intelligence
