Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Professional to join our team as a Teacher of Psychology and Sociology. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and develop students in this subject area at Key Stages 4 and 5.

The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching Psychology and Sociology. They will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, using their expertise to support and challenge students, and collaborating with fellow educators. The role also involves monitoring and reporting on student progress, ensuring a high standard of learning and development.

Salary Information
MPS/UPS (£30,000 - £60,000 depending on experience)

Job Description
As a Teacher of Psychology and Sociology, the duties may include:
- Delivering engaging lessons in Psychology and Sociology to GCSE and A-Level students
- Using subject expertise to support and challenge students, helping them achieve their potential
- Collaborating with fellow educators and contributing to the school's progressive ethos
- Monitoring and reporting on student progress, ensuring a high standard of learning and development
- Fulfilling teaching and assessment responsibilities in line with the school's curriculum standards

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with experience teaching Psychology and Sociology
- Strong knowledge of the curriculum and examination requirements for Key Stages 4 and 5
- Effective communication and classroom management skills
