**Job Summary**:
The Quality & Standards team is embedded within the Academic Registry function of Student Operations. It is responsible for the oversight, approval and monitoring of all academic programmes within the University taking into account OfS, QSS and PSRB requirements.
The Deputy Academic Registrar (Quality Assurance) will manage the Quality Team and provide operational oversight and strategic advice to maintain the integrity of the award in compliance with regulatory frameworks. The role will have organisational responsibility for monitoring institutional student outcomes related to the OfS Condition B3 metrics.
This role manages a team of Quality specialists. It acts as the data steward for the University curriculum data, working in partnership with technical and functional leads in professional services and academic faculties.
The role takes the lead in developing and implementing processes and policies in relation to quality assurance and enhancement.
The role is responsible for the monitoring and reporting of university risk as it relates to academic quality and student outcomes.
We are looking for an experienced Quality and Enhancement professional with an HE background.
You should be committed to driving change and enhancement, and be able to work collaboratively with colleagues across the university.
You should also have proven experience of committee servicing and the ability to write committee reports.
An understanding of quality enhancement as it relates to collaborative provision would be useful but not essential.
