Job Title: Care Home Director

About Us: We are a leading independent healthcare company specialising in care of the elderly, providing the highest standards of personalised care to residents in over 260 homes across the UK.

Role Overview: As a Care Home Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of all aspects of our home. You will lead and manage a team that is motivated to deliver quality care and support to our residents. This role involves financial management, compliance, and implementing policies and procedures to ensure our home operates above statutory, regulatory, and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and support to residents.
  2. Oversee the financial management of the home, ensuring it operates within budget.
  3. Ensure compliance with CQC and local authority requirements.
  4. Implement policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
  5. Build relationships and communicate effectively with residents, relatives, and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  1. A minimum of 2 years proven management experience in a 50+ bed nursing home for the elderly.
  2. Knowledge of CQC and local authority requirements.
  3. Strong commercial awareness with P&L accountability.
  4. Satisfactory DBS check and employment references.

Salary: Up to £55,000 per year (based on 40 hours).
