Financial Controller

AtkinsClarke is seeking a dynamic and commercially astute UK Financial Controller to join the UK arm of a global manufacturing business based near Telford, reporting directly to the UK Managing Director.
The company has market-leading technology that has enabled them to win globally recognised customers. As the UK Financial Controller, you will oversee all aspects of finance, accounting, and IT for the UK business.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the UK finance team
- Deliver management accounting, financial reporting, and analysis to drive business performance
- Manage forecasting, budgeting, and strategic financial planning processes
- Oversee working capital, cash management, and customer credit management
- Handle standard costing, efficiency analysis, and investment appraisals
- Partner closely with the UK Managing Director, providing financial insights to support decision-making
- Evaluate commercial pricing, tender appraisals, and procurement contracts
- Ensure compliance with audit, taxation, statutory reporting, and regulatory requirements
- Manage payroll, pensions, employee benefits, and treasury functions
- Ensure robust ForEx, banking, and financing activities
- Manage insurance arrangements and ensure regulatory compliance
