Management Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our client's team in Telford. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial guidance and support to the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and present financial reports, including annual P&L and cashflow
  • Develop and implement financial forecasting and budgeting processes
  • Oversee the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and manage the asset register
  • Lead the payroll and VAT returns processes
  • Manage a team of two staff members on a day-to-day basis
Requirements:
  • Relevant accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, or CIMA) or equivalent experience
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Experience with Xero and advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to demonstrate strong management skills and a professional approach
About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful SME on the outskirts of Telford. The role offers a great package, including the option to work from home one day a week. You will be responsible for managing a team and providing financial guidance to the business.

Please note that due to the location, you must have your own transport. The role is commutable from various locations, including Telford, Shrewsbury, and Stafford.
