Risk and Governance Review Senior Associate

Job Summary:

Lloyd's is seeking a highly skilled Risk and Governance Review Senior Associate to support the Market Governance, Risk and Resilience Senior Manager and the Head of Markets Governance. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking expert analysis of submissions and documents from the market to assess the level of maturity and good practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze a range of documents, including ORSAs, Risk Management Audits, PRA Pre Periodic Supervisory Meeting Letters, Board Effectiveness Reviews, and Board Packs, to make recommendations on additional oversight activity.
  • Operate the Governance Indicators Framework, engaging with internal teams to ensure information is up to date, and providing reports to the Senior Manager on changes and developments.
  • Prepare reporting on the Governance Indicators Framework for internal governance meetings.
  • Provide support to the Senior Manager in additional oversight meetings with managing agents to discuss Risk Management and Governance.

Requirements:

  • Relevant governance and risk management experience.
  • Experience advising on risk management, performance, and regulation.
  • Knowledge of business process and systems change tools and best practice principles.
  • Ability to make strategic, commercial, and customer-focused decisions.
  • Demonstrate empathy and gather insights to drive the Corporation's understanding of and response to issues and opportunities.
  • Provide pragmatic, risk-based solutions, taking the needs of various stakeholders into account.
