About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Regional Fundraising team as a Community Fundraising Ambassador. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer's Society in your local community.

As a Community Fundraising Ambassador, you will have the opportunity to engage with our supporters in a variety of ways, including attending events, managing collections, and participating in cheque presentations. You will also have the chance to gain insights into dementia and contribute to the fundraising efforts that support individuals living with and affected by the condition.

Our Community Fundraising Ambassadors are passionate about making a difference in their community and are committed to helping us provide essential services, fund research, and advocate for changes that improve the lives of those affected by dementia.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about fundraising, has excellent communication skills, and is able to work independently. If you are a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is looking for a rewarding volunteer opportunity, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's Society in your local community
  • Engage with our supporters in a variety of ways, including attending events and managing collections
  • Participate in cheque presentations and other fundraising activities
  • Gain insights into dementia and contribute to the fundraising efforts that support individuals living with and affected by the condition
