Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Care and Activity Coordinator to join our team at Avon Lodge, a modern care home situated in Kingswood on the eastern edge of Bristol.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality activities and care to residents with varying needs and abilities.

You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing activity programmes that cater to the diverse interests and requirements of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging activity programmes that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and physical well-being.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify resident preferences and develop tailored activity plans.
  • Source and procure materials, equipment, and resources required for activities.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, their families, and colleagues.

A minimum of 85 per hour (£1700 monthly) salary package is offered, including company pension, 5.6 weeks paid holiday pay, refer a friend scheme, employee assistance programme, extensive training courses, qualifications, and blue light card discounts.
