Antimicrobial Stewardship and Clinical Leadership Pharmacist

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Antimicrobial Stewardship and Clinical Leadership Pharmacist to join our team in Cambridgeshire, UK. The successful candidate will provide advanced clinical pharmacy services to patients with complex infections, including those requiring antimicrobial therapy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement antimicrobial stewardship strategies to improve patient outcomes.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement policies and guidelines related to antimicrobial use.
- Contribute to the development of educational programs for healthcare staff on antimicrobial prescribing and management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize antimicrobial use and patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Masters-level degree in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification.
- Postgraduate preregistration year experience and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Completed Certificate (Year 1) of Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy/General Pharmacy Practice and studying for completion of year 2 or completed equivalent qualification as assessed by the interview panel.
- Qualified and registered as an Independent prescriber.
