We are seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist Specialist to join our team at Cambridge University Hospitals. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pharmacist to take on a challenging role and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will work as part of our Critical Care Pharmacy Team, providing expert clinical pharmacy services across adult critical care areas. This includes participation in a rotational clinical programme, review and reconciliation of step-down patients, and delivery of a seven-day service.

Main Duties
  • Provide ward-based services across critical care areas, including the John Farman Intensive Care Unit and Neurosciences Critical Care Unit.
  • Participate in a rotational clinical programme to develop expertise and enhance patient care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical pharmacy policies and guidelines.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Masters-level degree in pharmacy and postgraduate preregistration year.
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Experience in critical care pharmacy, with a strong understanding of drug use in critical care patients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The estimated salary for this position is £46,148 - £52,809 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.
